Let's get out and explore Alabama and see how many miles we can complete in 2025! This year we are embracing our animal spirits! Winners will be categorized into animal groups.

For this challenge participants can log any miles you hike/walk/bike within the state of Alabama. Any hikes/walks/bike rides led by the club outside of Alabama may be counted towards your overall miles hiked/walked or biked.

• Eligible Participants: Club Members Only
• Qualifier: You must hike/walk a minimum of 100 miles or bike a minimum of 120 miles to be eligible for a prize
• Challenge Period: January 1 – December 15, 2025
• Registration Fee: $15 (Pay at time of registration)
• Winner Announcement: Saturday, January 3, 2026 (subject to change)
• Challenge Tracker: Each participant will be responsible for completing the challenge tracker online form. All tracking will be based on the honor system and will require tracker form completion to count.

Hiking/Walking

• Cheetah (Gold) – 300+ miles hiked (25 miles per month)
• Jackrabbit (Silver) – 200 – 299 miles hiked (16.7 miles per month)
• Emu (Bronze) – 100 – 199 miles hiked (8.3 miles per month)

Biking (any form of biking)

• Gazelle (Gold) – 600+ miles hiked (50 miles per month)
• Zebra (Silver) – 360 – 599 miles hiked (30 miles per month)
• Warthog (Bronze) – 120 – 359 miles hiked (10 miles per month)
